Christmas Day Outfit Ideas

Can you believe there are only 7 sleeps until Santa comes??? While most people might be ready for 2020 to be over with, for me it's kind of scary how fast the time seems to go these days and wish it could slow down! Minus a global pandemic…

As a few of the other holidays, Christmas will most likely look different this year too. Whether you are having a small gathering or maybe a larger outdoor one, the one thing that does not have to be compromised is your outfit.

I’ve always had it in my head that I can dress up more for Christmas than some of the other holidays. I’m honestly not sure why, but maybe because the décor is just so bright, sparkly, and festive that I’ve made myself believe my outfit should be to. With that, comfort/function is still important as well. So this post is to share a few outfit ideas to wear this Christmas that will look great but not get in the way of your comfort!

Jumpsuit – I love jumpsuits (my dad absolutely hates them LOL). Other than when a bathroom break is needed, I love to wear a jumpsuit. And depending on the style you chose, a lot of times the bathroom break isn’t an issue. There are so many cute styles out there to chose wisely from for your occasion.

Jeans and sheer sleeve top – I love this trend right now. The look is elegant but unique at the same time and I cannot get enough of it. Wear this style top with a pair of dark jeans and a mule, or go ahead and throw on a low, chunky heel to look chic but remain comfortable.

Midi skirt and sweater – Another elegant but comfortable look. I love a good mini skirt, but for a family function where you are walking around a lot or sinking into the couch after dinner, it’s not very practical. Behold, the midi skirt to the rescue! You get the same comfort of a skirt but without flashing Uncle Bob and Aunt Susie every time you get up from the couch.
